We can come to your site and inspect, measure and analyze wear patterns. Working with our metallurgical staff we can provide an optimized solution that includes the best design and material elements to maximize the life of your equipment.
From simple cut plate to complex fabrications, Tricon’s 3 fabrication facilities can handle almost any component or assembly. Our operations include oxy and plasma cutting tables, induction hardening, fabrication and hard-facing, roll and press forming, and a full-service CNC machine shop. Flexible fabricating bays allow us to work on products up to 80’ long, and weighing up to 20 tons.
Tricon maintains a full-service metallurgical department and keeps a metallurgist and welding engineer on staff to work with you to optimize the service life of your equipment. Our capabilities include chemical and physical property analysis, failure analysis of used components, optical microscopy, ultrasonic and magnetic particle crack detection, heat treating, and alloy design/application.
